Students have to indentify the imperative verb form being used to give instructions to the hotel handyman. The Gold Coast Welcomes YouTarget Language: Infinitive of purpose.Description: A lesson that practices the use of the infinitive to talk about why someone went somewhere (e.g. to see the pyramids, to eat pizza, to visit a friend, etc) The theme of the lesson is tourism and the reason people travel to certain countries, with a particular focus on the Gold Coast in Australia, which forms the basis of the main reading comprehension exercise.
