IELTS Academic Writing Exercises

In the Academic module of the written IELTS exam, there are 2 tasks. In Task One, you, the candidate will have to describe a diagram, graph, process or chart, and in Task Two you respond to an argument and give your opinion, weighing up the pros and cons.

Each page contains an example of both Writing Task One and Writing Task Two.

Though we are not able to mark your writing practice for you, it's good for you to try these exercises yourself as they give good practice of what you will face in the IELTS examination.
