Let's Go Camping!

I've been camping since I was a child and still love it. My favourite spot is a quiet lake surrounded by woods. It's not too far from here. I usually go there with my family. We enjoy fishing and sitting around the campfire at night. Last summer, we saw a deer near our tent! I always feel so relaxed after a weekend of camping. My cousin, who prefers hotels, joined us once but didn't enjoy it as much as we do. I don't think he'll come with us again!

Camping is my escape from the busy city life. I often camp with friends in the mountains. We hike during the day and at night, we cook together. I'm not great at cooking, but it's always fun. Last month, we got caught in the rain, but it just added to the adventure. I've been teaching my younger brother about camping. He's excited to join me next time.

I started camping recently and I'm surprised by how much I like it. My first trip was with a group from work. We camped by the sea and I loved the sound of the waves at night. I usually bring a book to read by the campfire. My friend Sarah, who is an experienced camper, helps me with setting up the tent. Next month, we're planning to camp in a forest. I can't wait!
