Questions 1-3
Narrator: Questions 1 through 3 refer to the following talk and chart.
All right, let's take a look at our quarterly sales figures. Overall, I'm pleased to report that sales are up across most of our territories. Now, if you look at the chart in front of you, you'll notice that one region significantly outperformed the others. I want to take a moment to recognize the team responsible for those top numbers. Their success is largely due to a new marketing campaign they launched in September. It focused on social media outreach and really connected with younger customers. I'd like the rest of our regional teams to study their approach and see what strategies might work in your areas as well.
Questions 4-6
Narrator: Questions 4 through 6 refer to the following introduction.
Good morning, everyone. Before we begin our keynote session, I am pleased to introduce our guest speaker, Ms. Fatima Al-Fayed. Ms. Al-Fayed is a recognized expert in the field of artificial intelligence and machine learning. She has written three best-selling books on how AI is transforming the workplace, and she regularly advises Fortune 500 companies on technology strategy. Today, she'll be sharing her insights on preparing your organization for the future of work. And for those of you interested in her publications, she has kindly agreed to sign copies of her latest book in the lobby immediately following her presentation. Please join me in welcoming Ms. Al-Fayed.
Questions 7-9
Narrator: Questions 7 through 9 refer to the following speech.
Could I have everyone's attention, please? I'd like to say a few words about our guest of honor this evening. As many of you know, John Mitchell is retiring at the end of this month after twenty years with the company. John joined us as a junior analyst back in 2005, and over the years, he's worked his way up to become one of our most respected department heads. More importantly, he's been a mentor and a friend to so many of us in this room. His guidance has helped shape the careers of countless employees. So, John, on behalf of everyone here, we want to thank you for your dedication and wish you all the best in your retirement. And now, please join me as we present John with a small token of our appreciation.
Questions 10-12
Narrator: Questions 10 through 12 refer to the following safety briefing.
Good morning, and welcome to the Riverside Manufacturing plant. My name is Carlos, and I'll be leading your tour today. Before we step onto the production floor, I need to go over a few important safety guidelines. First, everyone must wear safety goggles at all times while we're in the factory. You'll find a pair in the basket by the door—please take one now. Second, please stay within the yellow lines painted on the floor. These mark the safe walking paths and keep you clear of moving equipment. Finally, if you hear the alarm sound at any point, follow me immediately to the nearest exit. Any questions? Great, let's grab those goggles and head inside.
