Questions 1-3

Narrator: Questions 1 through 3 refer to the following meeting.

All right, everyone, let's get started. I've called this meeting to go over our financial results from last quarter and discuss some changes moving forward. First, the good news: our sales numbers exceeded expectations by about twelve percent, which is excellent work by the whole team. However, we did identify one area of concern. Our travel expenses came in significantly over budget, nearly thirty percent higher than planned. Most of this was due to last-minute international trips. So, effective immediately, we're implementing a new policy. Any international travel must now be approved in advance by a Vice President. This applies to all departments. Please make sure your teams are aware of this change. Any questions?

Questions 4-6

Narrator: Questions 4 through 6 refer to the following announcement and schedule.

Good morning, everyone, and welcome to this year's Business Leadership Conference. I'm Rachel Torres, and I'll be coordinating today's events. I need to let you know about a schedule change. Unfortunately, the speaker for our eleven o'clock session has had his flight delayed and won't arrive until this afternoon. So we've decided to move that session to two PM. In its place, we'll have an extended coffee break and networking opportunity in the main lobby. Everything else on the schedule remains the same, so the keynote will start right on time at nine, followed by Marketing Trends at ten. Please check the updated schedule at the registration desk. Thank you for your flexibility.

Questions 7-9

Narrator: Questions 7 through 9 refer to the following voicemail message.

Hi, this is Sarah from the IT department. I'm calling about the support ticket you submitted last week regarding your laptop battery. I wanted to give you a quick update. We've ordered a replacement battery, but unfortunately it's on back order and won't arrive until Tuesday. I know that's not ideal, especially if you have meetings or travel coming up. So in the meantime, I can set you up with a loaner laptop if you'd like. It's the same model as yours, so all your files and settings should transfer over easily. Just stop by the IT office on the third floor whenever you have a chance, and we'll get you sorted out. Give me a call back if you have any questions. Thanks.

Questions 10-12

Narrator: Questions 10 through 12 refer to the following voicemail message.

Hello, this is Tom Patterson from building management with an important notice for all tenants. Tomorrow, Wednesday, we will be performing emergency repairs on the main water line. The water supply to floors two through five will be shut off between nine AM and eleven AM. During this time, you will not have access to drinking fountains or restrooms on those floors. However, the facilities on the first floor will remain fully operational, so please plan to use those if needed. We expect the work to be completed by eleven, but we'll send another message if there are any delays. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your cooperation. If you have any questions, please contact the management office.
