Read the descriptions of four local clubs (A, B, C, and D). For each question, decide which club is the most suitable.
Local Clubs
A. The Town Cooking Club
Do you want to learn how to make delicious meals? Join our friendly cooking club. We meet every Wednesday evening at 7 p.m. in the community centre kitchen. It costs a small amount each week because we buy all the fresh food for you to use. You learn a new recipe and then we all eat the wonderful dinner together. It is a great way to meet new people and share a meal.
B. The Reading Circle
For people who love stories, our book club is perfect. We meet on the first Tuesday of every month at the town library, which is a very calm place. It costs nothing to become a member, but you need to get the book yourself. We choose a different book each month and then we have a quiet chat about it. It is a very relaxing way to spend an evening and share your ideas.
C. The Hill Walkers
Come and see the beautiful countryside with us. This club is for people who enjoy being outdoors and are quite fit. We go for long walks every Sunday morning, leaving from the bus station at 9 a.m. You need to wear good walking shoes and bring your own lunch and water with you. It is a fantastic way to get some exercise and enjoy the fresh air with others.
D. The City Photo Club
If you want to take better pictures, this is the club for you. We are open to everyone, even if you are a complete beginner. We meet every Saturday afternoon and we visit a different part of the city each week to practise. Our friendly group leader helps you to use your camera or your phone. You can learn a new skill and see interesting places in your city.
