1. At what time of day does the music bother Sara?
Early in the morning when she wakes early
Late at night, after she is already asleep
Whenever the bass is turned up, regardless of the time
In the evenings, especially after nine

2. Why does Sara need to sleep early?
Her alarm goes off at five thirty for work
She has a long commute and needs to leave before six
She studies late and gets up early
    She works night shifts

3. Why has Todd been playing music later into the evening recently?
He listens to music to help him fall asleep at night
    He cannot sleep without it
He has a work deadline he is trying to catch up on
He did not realize the walls were so thin until Sara told him

4. What solution does Todd suggest right away?
Buying a rug for the living room
    Wearing headphones after nine
Moving his speakers to another room
Playing music only during the day

5. Why does Todd say he is glad Sara told him?
He would rather know than have her stay angry at him
He had been meaning to apologize for the noise anyway
He wanted an excuse to use his headphones
He had received other complaints already

6. What does Sara say about whether she can hear Todd's phone calls?
    She can hear them clearly
She finds them more annoying than the music
She can hear them faintly but they do not bother her
She cannot really hear them, only the loud music

7. What can we infer about why Sara felt awkward bringing this up?
She was not sure the noise was actually coming from his apartment
She thought Todd would refuse outright
She did not want to seem like a difficult neighbor
She had already complained many times before

8. How does Sara respond to Todd's offer to buy a rug?
    She gratefully accepts the offer
She asks him to try it first and see if it helps
She offers to pay for half of it
    She says not to bother
