TEFL Guide - Poland![]() Suzanne Stockton - November 2001I've been in Warsaw for a while now and absolutely love it! Contrary to popular Western beliefs, you can buy the same stuff here as at home pretty much - some differences with food, i.e. no decent bacon, but on the whole a teacher here has a good standard of living, and there's plenty going on in Warsaw to spend the hard-earned zloty on! The language is hideous - in the top-10 hardest languages apparently! But the people are friendly and the students are heard-working with a really good sense of humour. It's easy to meet people - Poles and ex-pats alike. |
