Title: Loved, Liked & Wanted Target Language: Pronunciation of past simple regular. Description: A pronunciation lesson more than a speaking one. Title: An Evening Out Target Language: Going Out, functional language of inviting & suggesting. Description: An initial survey about going out in the evening is followed by an exercise looking at the structures involved. Title: A Day On The Beach Target Language: Past simple verbs \ Question forms \ beach and vacation vocabulary. Description: Some early holiday/vacation vocabulary work is consolidated later in the lesson with a reading and then students are given the chance to use the new language speaking about going to the beach.
