What Makes Me Really Angry!
Discussion starter about what makes people really angry.

Acts as a prompt for a discussion on the paranormal, UFOs, etc, etc.

What happened??
Practice of past modals of deduction (must have, can't have, etc). Student read a list of improbable situations and have to discuss what may have happened. I would like to add to this list if possible so please e-mail me if you have any others...or don't know the answer to these ones!

 

 

This Old House
Students read a report on the condition of an old house that needs repairing and decide in groups what action should be taken. Good practice of the causative 'have': for example 'we will have the windows repaired and repainted.'
